Edsel Ford High School

Daily News for Jan. 30th

Good morning, Edsel Ford! Today is Friday, January 30th, and these are your daily announcements.

Attention French NHS:

We will be going to Salina next Tuesday. Practice for The Three Bears will be Monday after school, so anyone involved in the skit PLEASE attend.

Freshman Class Officers: There will be a meeting on Feb. 3 in room C-3 after school.

Edsel Ford now has a Knitting Group. Staff and students are welcome to bring their projects and meet in F13 every Thursday after school.

If you have registered and paid for Credit Recovery for second semester, it will begin on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 3.  Class meets in room F8 from 2:25 to 3:25.  The door is locked at 2:30 and students will not be admitted after that time, so you must be on time.

Boys’ and girls’ track athletes: There will be a track meeting tomorrow in the cafeteria after school.

Seniors: Jostens will be in the cafeteria for cap and gown orders and announcements today. This will be the last time they will be here.

All students: you can still buy a yearbook for $70. There are less than fifty to purchase so don’t wait! Get yours today! Also, baby and buddy ads are still available until space has been filled.

Students – this is a reminder that you are to exit the building no later than 2:30 unless you are supervised by a teacher in an after-school activity.  Students who are staying after school for personal reasons will be dealt with as violating the student code of conduct for loitering.

Now for today’s sports:

Girls Basketball is away at Belleville High School at 3:30, 5:30, and 7.

Today’s lunch will consist of:

Fish sandwiches, augratin potatoes, tomato soup, hamburgers, spicy fires, fruit, salad, pizza sticks, cheese sticks, cheese rolls, and cookies.

Now for today’s random fact:

Paul McCartney’s mother was a midwife.

Thanks for listening, Edsel Ford. Have a great day!
