Daily News for Feb. 27th

Good morning Edsel Ford. Today is Wednesday, February 27th, and these are your daily announcements. 

There will be a Teens for Christ meeting on Thursday, February 28th. We will be meeting in Mr. Mayoros’ room, A2,  at 2:20 till 3:15. Hope to see you there. 

Sponge Dance  which  is normally held in the beginning of March will be held on April 4th. 

The mandatory rules meeting for the dodgeball tournament will take place Tuesday,  March 4th at 2:30 in the cafeteria. The meeting should only last 15 minutes and will cover the fundamentals of the game, plus waivers will be passed out.     At least one member of every team MUST come to the meeting!     Remember, any team names or t-shirt logos must be cleared before the tournament.    The money is due before March 3rd. 

Seniors wishing to be selected as the EFHS Senior Artist should bring their portfolio to a meeting after school in F-13 on March 7th.You will have time to fix, update, or add to your portfolio before the final decision is made (in April), but you MUST attend this first meeting with your work. 

How would you like to drive a Mustang GT or a Mustang
Shelby?  You may have the opportunity to drive one at the Ford Test Track!   75 students will have the opportunity to drive one of these exciting vehicles.  You must write a paragraph of at least 100 words about why it is important for teenagers to practice safe driving habits.  These paragraphs will be read by staff members and the best 75 entries will win.  These winners will then go to the test track and drive some of the best vehicles the Ford Motor Company have to offer.  The only requirements are that you have a valid driver’s license and a good driving history. 
Paragraphs are to be turned in no later than March 26 to Mr. Tyler in Room C-3. 

Senior party tickets will be on sale every Wednesday during lunch.   Tickets are $55. 

Attentions juniors: If you are interested in becoming a member of the EF Report Live Broadcast Crew; you have until this Friday to submit your application.   Forms may be picked up in the

Library
Media
Center.   Some great students have picked up forms,  but have not returned them.  Remember, if you want to be considered for the crew, you MUST return the completed forms by the 29th. 
 

Today’s lunch menu will sub sandwiches, hamburgers, cream of broccoli soup, spicy fries, pretzels, cheese rolls, Stromboli’s, turkey subs and cookies.
