Daily News for Feb. 25th

Good morning Edsel Ford. Today is Monday, February 25th, and these are your daily announcements. Dodgeball Fans!!! The 10th grade class will be hosting a dodgeball tournament on Wednesday, March 5th and Thursday March 6th.Here are the rules:1. Every team needs to have between 5-10 people2. The cost to play is $25 per team3. There will be a rules meeting Tuesday March 4th.If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Haddad or a 10th grade class representative!“If you can dodge a wrench……. you can dodge a ball!” 

The Drama Department is in need of a few good men for their upcoming production of The Crucible. If you are interested in auditioning, see Ms. Hurst in room A3 TODAY! The Islamic Club will be meeting in Room B-13 on Tuesday, February 26 at 2:20.  Students must provide their own transportation. 

Seniors wishing to be selected as the EFHS Senior Artist should bring their portfolio to a meeting after school in F-13 on March 7th.You will have time to fix, update, or add to your portfolio before the final decision is made (in April), but you MUST attend this first meeting with your work.  How would you like to drive a Mustang GT or a Mustang Shelby?  You may have the opportunity to drive one at the Ford Test Track!  75 students will have the opportunity to win a chance at driving one of these cars.  You have to write a paragraph of at least 100 words about why it is important for teenagers to practice safe driving habits.  These paragraphs will be read by staff members and the best 75 entries will win.  These winners will then go to the test track and drive some of the best vehicles the Ford Motor Company have to offer.  The only requirements are that you have a valid driver’s license and a good driving history.  Paragraphs are to be turned in no later than March 26 to Mr. Tyler in Room C-3.  Attention French NHS members. There will be a rehearsal after school today Feb. 25th in Madame’s room. We will be going to Salina on Tuesday the 26th and Stout the 28th. Students: Please check the T.V. monitors in your classrooms and posters in the hallways for Art Club meeting dates for the rest of the school year. Students: Jostens will be here today during lunch. Please remember to bring your money and order forms. 

Please help F-7 to carry out the school recyclable program by putting your pop bottles and cans in the trash container at the front of the cafeteria.  Students: After school tutoring is now being offered. You must sign in between 2:15 and 2:25 and stay for an hour. Tutoring is being offered for Math, Science and Language Arts. Please see Mrs. McAuliff in the link crew office upstairs for more information. Today’s lunch menu will consist of homemade macaroni and cheese, bread, tomato soup, hamburgers, spicy fries, tossed salad, cheese rolls, homemade cinnamon rolls, pizza sticks and cheese sticks
