Good Morning Edsel Ford. Today is Thursday November 1st, and these are your daily announcements. Attention Juniors and Seniors:Baker College will be here for a college visit on Monday, November 5th at 8:30 am. Students interested in attending must sign up in the counseling office at least 24 hours before the scheduled visit.
Wayne State University will be here for an “on sight” visit, Monday Nov. 12th. Only students interested in applying for admission are to sign up. The deadline is Thursday, November 8th. See Mrs. Corrigan in the counseling office for more information.
Attention all athletes using the varsity locker room. You will need to clear your lockers by 4pm today(Thursday). If you do not do so, all you belongings left in the lockers will be thrown out. We are having the locker room sprayed and disinfected. Any questions see Mr. Picano.
There will be a Lit. Mag. Meeting Tuesday, November 6th after school in Ms. Coookinham’s room, E-12. Everyone is welcome. Basketball cheerleading clinics and tryouts will be next week. Dates and times will be announced later this week.
There will be a Blood Drive Wednesday, November 7th. If you are donating make sure you eat a good breakfast and drink a lot of fluids. If you are not 17 you cannot donate. Please speak to Matt Bannon, Kelly Mihalik, or Nadia Ourchane for any questions. There is a mandatory link leader today in the library media center after school. Thanks, Mrs. McAuliff and Mrs. Haddad. Due to the link crew meeting after school on November 5th, there will be an Interact Club meeting on Friday Nov. 2nd– bring your UNICEF money!
There will be a STAR meeting today, November 1st. We will be discussing the Jenna Six. All opinions and debates are welcome. Come to Mrs. Reiter’s room right after school. There will be snacks. Donate to First Step, the project on domestic and sexual violence. Ask your teachers to see the list of items they need and turn items into your 6th hour. The class with most items turned in by November 16th will receive a prize. Contact Dania Berjaoui or Kelly Mihalik if you have questions. Attention boy’s swimmers and divers: don’t forget the swim team meeting Monday, November 5th after school in the cafeteria. New swimmers and divers are welcome.
