If you have passed your ASAP class first semester, please visit the main office to receive your refund AT LUNCH TODAY.

Do you like engineering? Would you like a chance to win a scholarship for HFCC in the Engineering Program?  If so,  please plan to meet on Wednesdays after school in room B-3 to find out information about the HFCC Engineering Design Fair and the HFCC Field Trip. 

Attention Seniors, PTSA Scholarships are available in both the Counseling Office and Main Office.  Pick one up today!

ASAP registration for 2nd semester has started. Please visit the counseling office for forms and classes available. Classes will start on February 16th. ASAP classes are $150 each. There will be a $75 discount for early registration. The registration Form can be downloaded by visiting Mr. Naimi’s iBlog.

Anime Club will meet on Wednesdays this semester.  Anime Club meets right after school in Ms. Hier’s room, A1.

There will be a Poetry Club meeting on Wednesday, February 10th in Mr. Belknap’s room (A-210) at 2:25.  New members are welcome!  Bring a poem centered around the theme of loss.  Snacks will be provided!

Are you good at resolving conflict?  We are looking for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students that would like to be peer mediators here at Edsel.  Our first training will be on February 23rd.  Please see Mrs. Haddad during 1st thru 3rd hours upstairs in A200 or Ragih Murshed.  There will be 4 trainings in total and we will begin the peer mediation program mid to late march.

STUDENTS!!!!  THERE WILL BE NO MORE SCHEDULE CHANGES WITHOUT AN ADMINISTRATOR’S APPROVAL!!!

The Class of 2018 will be raffling off Valentine’s Day gift baskets at lunch.  Come and buy a ticket to win a wonderful gift basket for that special someone!

Thursday, February 11th, there will be no after school tutoring.  Please make arrangements accordingly.

All girls interested in playing soccer this spring should attend a short informational meeting after school at 2:30, on Wednesday, February 10th, in the cafeteria.  See you there!!

Congratulations to our EFHS Singers who competed at the District Solo and Ensemble this last Saturday!  Earning Excellent Ratings are Senior Keegan Vaughn and Junior La’Daria Avery.  Good Ratings were awarded to Seniors Cassie O’Brien and Celena Guajardo and Sophomore Reagan Rankin.  Keegan Vaughn and La’Daria will continue on to the State competition.  Many thanks also to Mrs. Sara Jakubiec for accompanying our performers.

Reminder to those who received an invitation to the PBIS Perfect Attendance:  A luncheon will be held during your lunch this Thursday in room F-4.

Don’t forget that this Wednesday is a Late Start Day.  School starts at 8:20!

Attention students-the class of 2017 is hosting a fundraiser this Friday, February 12th at Brera Pizza.  It is located on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Military Street.  Come enjoy some delicious pizza, salad, and wraps and make sure to tell them you’re from Edsel Ford!!  Don’t miss out!!
