Model United Nations (UN) Club has started up again at Edsel Ford sponsored by teachers Mr. Whalen, Ms. Potter and Mr. Dallas. Thank you to our students who represented Edsel Ford on Saturday at the GLICA (Great Lakes Invitational Conference Association) for a Model UN simulation. They did such a great job. Model UN is where you can learn about diplomacy, how to work well with others, the importance of communication and compromisation skills, problem solving skills, and also to discuss history and international relations. They meet on Mondays after school and are looking for more candidates to join. Please contact Mr. Whalen, Ms. Potter or Mr. Dallas if interested.
These three students gave up a good chunk of a Saturday to head out to Warren Fitzgerald High school to take part in a Model UN simulation.
