As a reminder, Edsel Ford High School will be hosting our ninth grade orientation for all incoming ninth graders on Tuesday, August 20th from 10:00 – 1:30pm. The orientation will begin in the gymnasium. Ninth graders should be dropped off by the EFHS main entrance off of Rotunda (U-shaped drive). Orientation is for incoming ninth grade students only. We ask parents to drop students off and return at 1:30pm to pick up. Please have students wear their Edsel Ford white T-shirts that were passed out during middle school visits.
Buses will be available to shuttle students from Salina Intermediate to Edsel Ford and then back again once the orientation is complete. Buses will pick up students at Salina Intermediate at 9:30am and then drop off around 1:45/2:00 pm. If your student is riding the bus, please make sure they are at Salina by 9:15am.
The orientation will allow all incoming ninth graders to tour Edsel Ford, meet the administration and select staff members, and build relationships with fellow ninth graders and Link Crew members. If you have any questions, please let me know.

للتذكير، سوف تستضيف ثانوية ادسل فورد توجيهنا للصف التاسع لجميع طلاب الصف التاسع الجدد يوم الثلاثاء ٢٠ آب (أغسطس) من الساعة ١٠ إلى ٣٠ :١ ظهرًا. سيبدأ التوجيه في صالة الألعاب الرياضية. ينبغي إنزال طلاب الصف التاسع عند المدخل الرئيسي لـ للثانوية قبالة شارع روتندا (منعطف على شكل حرف U). التوجيه مخصص لطلاب الصف التاسع الوافدين فقط. نطلب من أولياء الأمور توصيل الطلاب والعودة الساعة ٣٠ :١ ظهرًا لاستلامهم. يرجى من الطلاب ارتداء قمصان ادسل فورد البيضاء الخاصة بهم والتي تم توزيعها عليهم أثناء زيارات المدارس الإعدادية.
ستكون الحافلات متاحة لنقل الطلاب من مدرسة سلاينا المتوسطة إلى مدرسة إدسل فورد ثم العودة مرة أخرى بمجرد اكتمال الزيارة التوجيهية. ستقوم الحافلات بنقل الطلاب من مدرسة سلاينا المتوسطة في الساعة ٣٠ :٩ صباحًا ثم تصطحبك في حوالي الساعة ١:٤٥- ٢ ظهرًا. إذا كان طالبك يستقل الحافلة، فيرجى التأكد من وصوله إلى سلاينا بحلول الساعة ١٥ :٩ صباحًا.
