This summer, Mr. Kelm and Edsel Ford will host the first annual Edsel Ford Theatre intensive camp! This exciting program is aimed at encouraging middle and high school students (6-12th Grade) to step out of their comfort zone and learn stage fundamentals to prepare them for the upcoming year.
July 15th-19th, 2024 from 8:30 am-2:00 Pm here at Edsel Ford High School. This will be led by Mr. Kelm and local professionals in conjunction with some returning alumni from the Edsel Ford Theatre Program. A suggested donation of $25 is encouraged per participant to offset the cost of materials,
Topics to be discussed will include:
*Stage Directions and movement
*Vocal Projection and enunciation
*Dance Workshop
*Stage Falls, Basic Stage Combat Choreography
*Tech Theatre fundamentals (equipment usage, safety, lighting, sound, and scenic design, sewing basics)
*Monologues and Short Scenes/Musical Numbers to be presented on our final day as an open viewing performance.
