Congratulations to the Dearborn Unified Figure Skating Team on success at the recent Michigan High School Figure Skating championships in Southgate! Edsel Ford Sophomore Molly Holland was two-time State Runner-up and silver medalist in both the Silver Ice Dance category and Artistic Duet category (with her partner, DHS junior Jillian Furlow). Senior Kaydence Grech also earned points for the T-Birds with her Artistic Solo, and Edsel Ford Junior Olivia Makled was fifth in Gold Ice Dance and fourth in her Freestyle Skating flight in helping Dearborn Unified place 13th overall out of 31 high school teams in overall individual points standings! Dearborn Unified skates out of the Dearborn Ice Skating Center and finished third this year in District Standings. Over 200 skaters from all over Michigan competed in this event.
