We hope everyone had a restful weekend! Congratulations to the Edsel Soccer Team for beating Fordson 4-0! We are still undefeated!
i-Ready Diagnostic:
We will begin assessing students in Math and Language Arts using the i-Ready Diagnostic. The i-Ready diagnostic will provide useful information to help guide instruction for all of our students. This is the first time we have a diagnostic tool for our 9th and 10th graders in math. We will be providing you the results of the assessment once it has been completed. Homecoming:
We are excited to announce that we will have a homecoming parade this year! Our student council and student council advisor, Mr. Pletzke is excited to bring back this great tradition. Our homecoming parade will start at 5PM. However, all participants in the parade will need to arrive no later than 4:30PM. We will send out the parade route this week.
It will be a day of excitement as we will have our Homecoming pep rally earlier during the school day with all students.
The Homecoming game will be at 7PM. We hope to have everyone come out and support our football team!
The Homecoming Dance will be on September 23rd from 7-10PM. There will not be any guest passes for this dance. This dance is to welcome all of our students back to school. Considering we had more than 500 students last year attend the homecoming dance, we want to make sure that Edsel students had priority and that we wouldn’t have any safety capacity issues. Non-Guest passes will be allowed for prom as it is for one class.
