Dear Edsel Ford Parents and Families,
I hope this finds you safe and well! I wanted to update you on a few things happening this week and next at Edsel Ford-
Homecoming 2020 will be this Friday when the Thunderbirds play Taylor at 7pm. At half time we will recognize our seniors from the band, cheer and football teams. We will also crown the king and queen following the senior introductions. All events will be socially distanced and safe. We will stream the game live on the Edsel Ford Athletic Department YouTube channel. You can watch the game and the crowning of the king and queen live……. Stay tuned and look for Mr. Picano’s posts.
This Thursday, October 22nd Edsel Ford will be hosting a Virtual Open House for all Edsel Ford parents and families. We will share our plans and initiatives for the schoolyear 20/21, 9th Grade Academy updates and school tour, Academies at Edsel Ford update, Learning Lab updates, MTSS support updates and so much more. Please look for information to be sent out within the next few days.
Invitations for Undergraduate Honors went out this past friday (via email) to qualifying 10th-12th grade students and parents. This is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, October 28th in the morning- a combination virtual event and a scheduled pickup of items and awards.
We will also send out detailed information on the plan for testing for the PSAT 9th grade on Tuesday, October 27th and the PSAT 10th and 11th to be held on Thursday, October 29th.
