Because of testing, art club students are will meet this Thursday at 2:30 pm after school in F-3.

Game On! will meet today after school in the media center for all types of gaming fun.

The library will be closed today until 12:30 for makeup testing.

On Friday, April 26th, Edsel Ford will take part in the district wide Care to the Core event.  We encourage all students to participate by dressing to reflect our uniqueness as a school community.  Our Admin team will visit all classrooms during 6th hour and choose five classrooms that best reflects our “Unique and United” school.  The 5 classrooms that are selected will participate in a one hour field day during 6th hour.

Girl Power Meeting:  Wednesday, May 1st at 2:20 in Room 209.  Please show up to help us plan future events.

MSA has united with Rahma Relief Foundation to collect money for Yemen. Yemen being the world’s largest humanitarian crisis and with Ramadan around the corner, millions are not going to have enough food to break their fast with. We will be having a Bake Sale this Friday, April 26th after school. We will also be selling hoodies during lunch that same day. Save up and bring money in this Friday and donate to those in need in Yemen. ALL profit is going to Yemen. Thank you.

Short Information Meeting For EF Sideline & Competitive cheerleading on Thursday right after school. In the cafeteria.

There will be a Women’s Varsity Swim Team meeting Friday April 26th in Room A1 after school. All those interested in joining the Women’s swim team next year should attend the meeting in A1 on Friday after school.

Class of 2021 class shirts!  Get an order form during A or B lunch from the Main Office or,  Morgan Miesmer, Melina Micallef or Mr. Biggar in B-13. Show your Thunderbird Pride!

Junior members of NHS, if you are interested in earning community service hours by working at home track meets, please come see Mr. Tyler in C-3. He will explain what you would be expected to do to earn service hours.

TO ALL SENIORS! There is a scholarship available for one high school senior from Edsel Ford who will be pursuing a post-secondary degree in the field of education.  Please see Mr. Baydoun in the counseling office if you are interested!’

Students time is running out to nominate a teacher or staff member for the PTSA Staff Person of the Year Award! Pick up a sheet in the Student Office and show your appreciation to your favorite Edsel Ford Staff Member!Seniors: There is still time to apply for the Booster Club Scholarship! Get the applications in any of the offices- don’t miss this great opportunity!

ALL STUDENTS AND SENIORS!  IF YOU OWE A BOOK FINE, YOU NEED TO TAKE CARE OF IT! SENIORS, IF YOU DON’T TAKE CARE OF FINES,  YOUR YOUR DIPLOMA WILL BE HELD!

Do you want to mentor 9th graders next year?  Give back to your school and community? Be a part of something positive and meaningful?  Link Crew might be for you! All current 10th and 11th graders, please pick up an application in the main office, counseling, outside Mrs Haddad’s office OR download from the school website.  Applications are due by April 29th. 11th graders that are currently link leaders will need to reapply. IT’S THAT TIME OF THE YEAR AGAIN WHERE WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SENIOR “STUDENT AT LARGE” TO WRITE A GRADUATION SPEECH.  The speech should last 3-4 minutes. Theme: “No Opportunity Wasted” N.O.W…These speeches will be given to a panel of teachers who will read and choose the speech that will be given by the selected student at graduation. If you wish to be considered, speeches should be turned in to Ms. Hall no later than April 29, 2019. All speeches must be typed!
