Edsel Ford High School

Youth Leadership & Diversity Education Program

We are  happy to share with you that LAHC will once again offer its FREE Youth Leadership & Diversity Education Program. This great program is entering its six year and open to high school and college students throughout Wayne County (11th and 12th Grades).

This proud partnership with the University of Michigan-Dearborn has allowed us to teach students about leadership skills, college preparation, public speaking, resume building, diversity education and much more. Additionally, students have the opportunity to meet with Government & Elected Officials and learn more about the different branches of the United States Government.

We are currently in the process of accepting applications for our upcoming trimester scheduled to begin on Wednesday, November 8th, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. Students who participate in this program gain up to 35 hours of community service.

Applications must be submitted electronically by visiting https://lahc.org/youth-leadership/. Deadline to apply is November 1st, 2017. Seating is very limited as we only have 25 seats available. Hence, we encourage all interested students not to wait until the deadline to submit their application.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Program Manager, Mr. Ali Berri at 313-846-8480 Ext. 102 or via email at: yldep@lahc.org
