Congratulations to the Girls Track and Field team who beat Dearborn High School in yesterday’s meet, a feat which hasn’t been done in years!

This year’s Annual Benefit Concert will take place on 6 May 2015 at 7:00 pm. in the Auditorium. Our Benefit Concert features the best and brightest of our student performers in performance PLUS benefits a local charity. This is our EFHS “talent show”, so we invite performers in ALL mediums to come and audition for this fun and worthy cause.
Auditions will be held in the Choir Room on Monday and Tuesday 27 and 28 April 2015 at 2:30 pm. Acts can include singing, dancing, acting, acrobatics, magic, juggling…. or any other awesome skill you would like to present. We are looking for 20 Student Volunteers and 300 Test Drivers for the Class of 2017 “Project Graduation” Fundraiser partnership with Village Ford’s Drive 4 UR school Program on Wednesday, May 6 2015 from 3:30 to 8:30 pm. For further information, please come to the Main Office.
Congratulations to our EFHS Vocalists who competed last Friday at the Michigan School Vocal Music Association State Solo and Ensemble Festival. Senior Matthew Stover received a “Good” Rating and Sophomore La’Daria Avery received a “Superior” Rating with a perfect score in Performance. Please congratulate these hard working singers!
The Interact Club is raffling off a chair with the back of it in the shape of a “D” for Detroit. It also has a cup holder on one of its arms. Each ticket costs $5 or five tickets can be purchased for $20. Proceeds will go to ShelterBox, which is a charity relief organization. The last day for ticket sales will be May 1st, and the drawing will take place on May 6th. See one of the Interact Club members or Mr.Clark in room F-15 for more information.

Want to rent a link leader?? Starting Monday, April 20th you can buy raffle tickets for $1 to rent your favorite link leader for the day. Winners will be announced on April 30th. Money raised will go towards Kids Against Hunger!
NHS is collecting new and gently used children’s books. We would like to encourage students to bring in books. The collection box for the books is in the counseling office.
Any freshman interested in running for class office please pick up an application from Mrs. Haddad. Please read the application form and make sure you meet the criteria to run for office: GPA, attendance and deportment.
Help keep the animals at the Dearborn Animal Shelter sanitary and safe with your donations for the animal shelter drive. From April 15th to April 30th NHS is taking donations of bleach, laundry soap, latex/vinyl gloves, liquid dish soap, garbage bags, black and white newspapers, and storage(ziplock) bags. Stop by the office and put your donations in the bin!
Attention Freshmen, Sophomores & Juniors. Do you love to dance and perform? Edsel Ford High School is holding auditions for their 2015 colorguard. Colorguard is a performing art that combines dance with flags and other equipment to create a crowd dazzling performance. Clinics and auditions are April 27-29 from 4:00 – 6:30pm in the band room. No experience is required! – ALL are welcome. For more information, please see Mr. Armstead or one of this year’s colorguard members.
All football players 9th through 11th grades, all money for the Football Fair on May 1 will be due ASAP Give checks to Coach Tyler or Coach Mac. Discussions on academics, admissions, the recruiting process, the College Board and training will take place on this date.
WE WILL have ASAP classes during MSTEP testing days this week.
