THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2012 

The Islamic Club is inviting a guest speaker from Seattle, Washington this Friday after school and will take place in the auditorium. The topic is: “Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad.” 

Attention all boys interested in swimming and diving:  There will be a meeting this Friday in the pool balcony at 2:30. Come pick up your athletic physical forms and get ready for dry land conditioning on Monday, November 5th.

There will be a short meeting of the “Do Something Club” in the cafeteria after school on Monday, November 5th.

Attention students who live in the Salina area:  Transportation will be available for your parents to attend conferences TODAY, Thursday, November 1st.   Please inform your parents that the bus will depart from Salina Middle School at 4pm and return at 6:30pm.  We hope your family will take advantage of the transportation provided for them and join us for conferences.

The Class of 2015 is having a bake sale Friday, November 2nd during lunch and after school.  Stop by and get yourself something delicious.

Please donate non-perishable food items to local families in need!  Edsel Ford will be collecting food for GLEANERS until the middle of November.  Look for the HUGE GLEANERS boxes in your classrooms.  Compete to see which class cares the most….we will be counting cans from freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors to see who collects the most!  Do something good for your community and donate to this worthy organization!

Attention anyone interested in the book club:  There will be a quick 10 minute meeting after school TODAY Thursday, November 8th to decide what book we’ll be reading.  Meet in room E2.

The Fall Sports banquet for Field Hockey, Swimming, Golf, Volleyball and Boys Tennis is Thursday, November 15th.  Boy’s Soccer, Football, Cheer and Cross Country is Monday, November 19th.  Banquet forms are available in the Main Office and must be returned to Ms. Keveney by November 9th!!!

Wrestling season starts November 12th Starting Oct. 17th “Learn to Wrestle” every Wednesday 4:00-5:30 p.m. in the E.F. wrestling room.
