Daily News for March 30th

Good morning, Edsel Ford! Today is Monday, March 30th, and these are your daily announcements.

 

The Spanish department is very proud of Kevin Belvitch and Lauren (LJ) Johnson who won the Latin Dance competition in Chicago Friday night.  They had some great moves and brought home the grand prize!

 

Applications for Link Crew 2009/2010 are now available. They are due back no later than April 9th to the front office, counseling office, or Mrs. McAuliff’s mailbox.  All current Link Leaders who wish to continue MUST RE-APPLY!

 

Attention all Thornley Court Members: The meeting this week will be moved to Thursday, April 2nd after school in Mrs. Lawlor’s room.

 

The Edsel Ford Varsity Baseball team will open its home season on the new field this Wednesday, April 1st at 4:00 vs. Crestwood.  Come out and support EF opening day!

 

Today’s sports:

Boys golf will be away at John Glenn HS at 3:00.

Girls softball will be home against Romulus HS at 4.

Girls Tennis will be playing against Belleville HS at 4.

Boys Varsity Baseball will be Away against Romulus HS at 4.

And- girls soccer will be home against Ann Arbor Huron at 4 and 5:30.

 

Today’s lunch will consist of: chili, chicken noodle soup, pretzels, and hot dogs, plus our regular menu selections.

 

Now for today’s random fact: Anne Bradstreet in 1650 was the 1st published American woman writer. Her book was The Tenth Muse Lately Sprung Up in America.
