Daily News for November 25th

Good morning, Edsel Ford.  Today is Tuesday, November 25th, and these are your daily announcements.

 

Congratulations to Brittany Wilkins for placing 11th in the state finals in the 500-YARD FREESTYLE with a time of 5 minutes 11.81 seconds.

 

There will be a Spanish NHS meeting today after school. This is mandatory for all those attending the elementary school outing in December.

 

Boys cross-country: Coach Haddad will be collecting the cookie orders and the money this week before Thanksgiving break.

 

Authentic German Advent Calendars are now available for $3 from the German National Honor Society.  Beginning on December 1, each day has a window that may be opened with a candy inside.  Please come to Herr Sedore’s room E10 or see any German NHS member and buy yours today!

 

The following colleges will soon be hosting visits in our building, so sign up in the counseling office if you’re interested:

 

Schoolcraft on December 16th at 12:20 p.m.

 

Davenport University on December 11th at 12:15 p.m.

 

And U of M Ann Arbor today at 12:20 p.m.

 

 

Attention all senior student athletes: The Michigan Athletic Association Scholar-Athlete Award Applications are due to Mr. Picano by the end of the day today. All applications must be complete.

 

Today’s lunch will consist of:

Chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes and gravy, chicken noodle soup, jello, hamburgers, dinner rolls, chicken pot pies, cheese rolls, strombolis, chicken Caesar salad, chicken wrap sandwiches, milk shakes, and assorted cookies.
