Daily News for Wed. Oct. 17th

Good Morning Edsel Ford. Today is Tuesday October 17th, and these are your daily announcements.  

The girl’s powder-puff game will be held today!! The seniors vs. juniors at 7:00 be there to cheer on your school. 

Picture retakes are October 22nd. 

There will be an Interact Club meeting after school today, in Herr Sedore’s room. Everyone is welcome! Hope to see you there. 

The 2007 Monster Mash Halloween Dance will be held on Friday, October 26th. Dress code will apply. Prizes will be given for best dressed, individual, couple, and group costumes. Tickets will be on sale during both lunches. $5.00 for underclassmen and $4.00 for seniors. 

A reminder, if you are interested in an art/photography club, there will be a meeting today after school in room F-13. 

If you are interested in snowboarding, skiing, tubing, or sledding, come check out the new ski club. We will be meeting and signing people up Thursday in the cafeteria after school. 

Junior class will be selling sweetest day cards and flowers at both lunches for $1.00 

The first meeting for the Thunderbird wrestling team will be held on Thursday October 18th, 2007 in the School Cafeteria at 2:30pm. 

Attention juniors, the PSAT exam will be given at Edsel Ford High School on Saturday, October 20th, 2007. Taking the PSAT exam is excellent practice for taking the SAT exam, and it is the only way to compete for the National Merit Scholarship. Interested students must register through their counselor by Thursday, October 18th, 2007. 

Bowling Green
will be here for a college visit on Thursday, October 18th at 12:30pm. Students interested in attending must sign up in the counseling office at least 24 hours before the scheduled visit.

Want to give sweets to your sweetie for Sweetest Day? Buy a Cupcake Gram from the Drama Club this week during both lunches. Cupcake Grams will be 1 dollar. They will be distributed at the end of 6th hour on Friday. Happy Sweetest Day!


Students! Due to the Undergraduate Honors Breakfast, there will NOT be Breakfast served on this Friday, October 19th.  

Students attending MBCC or DCMST, who will be attending the breakfast, please stop by the main office to pick up your blue slip. You must have your blue slip to attend. Thank you 

S.T.A.R (Students Taking an Active Role) will meet on Thursday, October 18th, at 2:30 in room C-4. Discussion topic to be determined.  

Today’s lunch menu will consist of salad bar, hamburgers, cream of broccoli soup, garlic bread sticks, Greek salads, Stromboli, cheese rolls, nachos and cheese, chocolate, peanut butter balls, pretzels.
