The last day to submit your MSA scholarship application will be this Friday. Be sure to submit it to Mr. Naimi or your counselor before 2:20 PM. No late applications will be accepted!

The clinics and auditions for Edsel Ford’s color guard have been MOVED  to May 4th – 6th from 4:00 – 6:30 pm in the band room. Remember, no experience is required. ALL are welcome. For more information, please see Mr. Armstead, or one of this year’s color guard members.

Any current Junior wishing to run for 2016 Student Council please see Mr. Tyler for an application in Room C-3.

Wanna play Dodgeball?… aka goal ball?  Come grab an application upstairs outside Mrs Haddad’s office or in the main office.  It’s $30/team.  Money and team rosters are due to Mrs Haddad by May 15th.  The event will be on Thursday, May 21st afterschool.  All proceeds will be donated to the family of our dear friend Tam Tam.

FYI…There will be tutoring every Tues-Wed-Thur until the end of the year.

This year’s Annual Benefit Concert will take place on May 6, 2015 at 7:00 pm. in the Auditorium.  Our Benefit Concert features the best and brightest of our student performers in performance PLUS benefits a local charity.  This is our EFHS “talent show”, so we invite performers in ALL mediums to come and audition for this fun and worthy cause. See Katelyn Crumb, Jon Scott, or Mr. Doyle for more information.

Auditions will be held in the Choir Room on Monday and Tuesday 27 and 28 April 2015 at 2:30 pm. 

We are looking for 20 Student Volunteers and 300 Test Drivers for the Class of 2017 “Project Graduation” Fundraiser partnership with Village Ford’s Drive 4 UR school Program on Wednesday, May 6 2015 from 3:30 to 8:30 pm.  For further information, please come to the Main Office.

The Interact Club is raffling off a chair with the back of it in the shape of a “D” for Detroit. It also has a cup holder on one of its arms. Each ticket costs $5 or five tickets can be purchased for $20. Proceeds will go to ShelterBox, which is a charity relief organization. The last day for ticket sales will be May 1st, and the drawing will take place on May 6th. See one of the Interact Club members or Mr.Clark in room F-15 for more imformation.

BOOK CLUB – “THE INVENTION OF WINDS” BY SUE MONK KIDD IS OUR FINAL NOVEL OF THE YEAR.  SO READ THE NOVEL AND MEET MAY 19TH IN ROOM E2 FOR A HAPPY ENDING!

WANNA BE A LINK LEADER?  Come get an application from Mrs. Haddad upstairs or in the main office or in counseling.  All applications are due by Friday, May 8th to Mrs. Haddad.

Link leaders will be having a meeting on Friday, April 24th in the media center at 6:55am.  Please make every effort to be there!

Want to rent a link leader??  Starting Monday, April 20th you can buy raffle tickets for $1 to rent your favorite link leader for the day.  Winners will be announced on April 3oth.  Money raised will go towards Kids Against Hunger!

NHS is collecting new and gently used children’s books. We would like to encourage students to bring in books. The collection box for the books is in the counseling office.

Any freshman interested in running for class office please pick up an application from Mrs. Haddad. Please read the application form and make sure you meet the criteria to run for office: GPA, attendance and deportment.

Help keep the animals at the Dearborn Animal Shelter sanitary and safe with your donations for the animal shelter drive. From April 15th to April 30th NHS is taking donations of bleach, laundry soap, latex/vinyl gloves, liquid dish soap, garbage bags, black and white newspapers, and storage(ziplock) bags. Stop by the office and put your donations in the bin! 

All football players 9th through 11th grades, all money for the Football Fair on May 1 will be due ASAP Give checks to Coach Tyler or Coach Mac. Discussions on academics, admissions, the recruiting process, the College Board and training will take place on this date.

Seniors: Mrs. DeVries will be selling Senior Party tickets during both lunch periods this week on Friday, April 24th

All boys interested in playing Volleyball in the Powder PUFF tournament on Friday, May 8th, please sign up with a class officer no later than TODAY, Friday, April 24! Thank you!

The last day to purchase Senior Prom tickets will be Friday, May 8th.
