Sophomores and Juniors!  Last chance to request a Spring visit from your favorite colleges and/or business schools of interest! If you wish any to visit us in May, please come down to Counseling and sign up.  Last day to actually sign up is Tuesday, March 31st.  This opportunity is for you! 

Reminder!  Boys golf practice Friday is from 3:00-4:00 pm at The Woodlands.Thanks Coach Pletzke

There will be NO pizza sales this Friday. We’ll be back on Friday the 27th.

There will be a mandatory MSA meeting TODAY, Friday after school in Room A2.

Who wants to see Jesse Naim or Adrian Ljaljevic dance on stage as well as other classmates?  On Tuesday, March 31st the Youth Affairs will be putting together a talent show called, Dearborn’s Got Talent!  Tickets are $5 and will be sold at both A & B lunches until next Friday.  If you have any questions, ask Mrs. Haddad.

Attention all senior athletes.  There will be a yearbook picture taken of all seniors who lettered in athletics this year.  The photo will be taken on Wednesday, March 25 promptly at 2:30 in the big gym.  Wear something that says Edsel.

Room E-5 will be open for students who are in need of using the computer or printer during lunch hours on Wednesdays. Please see Ms. Tynan in the counseling center to sign up on the morning of the day you will need to use the lab. If you do not have a pass from Ms. Tynan, you will not be permitted in the computer lab. NO EXCEPTIONS! Please be reminded that the media center hours will remain the same. This is just another option for students who are not able to go to the media center on other days.

Seniors: Please turn in a wallet size baby picture of yourself to Mrs. Keveney in the main office by March 31st.  The Baby Picture Contest will take place at the Senior Party and prizes will be awarded to the top three winners.  

HYPE ATHLETICS LOCATED AT 23302 W. WARREN AVE, DEARBORN HTS, MI 48127, is starting a NEW DRAMA GROUP!! March 20th at 7 p.m., please come and make a difference. Hey students! Do you know how many books there are in the Edsel Ford library? Place your guess in the box in the counseling office! The person with the closest estimate will win a $20 Barnes and Noble gift card! The winner will be announced when we return from Spring Break!

We are over half way to our goal of $2800 for Kids Against Hunger!  TODAY Friday, March 20th we will be playing Minute to Win it during both lunches.  A student representative from each class will run around the cafeteria with a bucket for their grade.  The class that raises the most in one minute will be awarded the title of class with the most heart.  All funds raised are going directly to Kids Against Hunger.  Help us reach that goal!  🙂

ATTENTION ACCESS STUDENTS!
ACCESS is planning a field trip to Cedar point on May 22nd. ACCESS will only be taking 25 students on this trip. Students will be selected based on their academics, after-school attendance, and behavior. For more information, see Mrs. Nasser at ACCESS.

Seniors….it’s finally that time to ask your special someone to Prom. Tickets will be on sale everyday, both A & B lunches, until May 8, 2015. Tickets are $50 for Singles and $90 for Couples. Thank you!! Guest passes are available in the Student Office.

Tickets for the EF production of “Once upon a Mattress” will be on sale during both lunch periods….We Thank you in advance..

If you have enough High School artwork to put together a portfolio, bring your work to Ms. Patroniti or Ms. Daly  by MONDAY, March 23.  One outstanding artist will have their work displayed at the City Wide Art Show at the Ford Fine and Performing Arts Center. 

The AAYSP is granting scholarships to outstanding high school seniors for the 2015 year. The prizes for this year are as follows:1st place-$3000, 2nd place: $2000, 3rd place: $1000, And multiple $500 scholarships. High school seniors are only eligible. Apply now by visiting aaysp.org/2015scholarship. Deadline to apply is April 10th.Please visit the counseling office for more information

TODAY, Friday, the 20th, there will be a fundraiser for the Edsel Ford Interact Club at Yogurt Town, to raise money for ShelterBox, which is an international disaster relief charity.

Sophomores: You can earn a $1,000.00 stipend, making art for the 3rd POP design team.  If you are creative, possess a good work ethic and work well with others, see Mrs. Patroniti or Ms. Daly for application information ASAP.

The League of Women Voters will be in the building on March 31 during both lunch periods to register students to vote! You must have a valid and birth certificate to register to vote.

The EFHS American Sign Language classes are selling T-shirts for Deaf Awareness month.  They will have deaf awareness on the front and Edsel Ford High School on the back. See Ms. Girolomo in room C-2 for an order form.  Money is due by Friday, March, 20.

SENIORS! JOSTENS WILL BE IN THE BUILDING ON THURSDAY, APRIL 2ND TO DISTRIBUTE GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS DURING BOTH A & B LUNCHES.
