The Annual Performing Arts Department Car Wash will be held this afternoon from 3:30-6:30 pm near the Gym entrance doors. This is our major fund raiser for the year and all donations benefit the various activities of the Performing Arts Department.   

ANY STUDENT INTERESTED IN BEING A PART OF THE BROADCAST GROUP, PLEASE SEE MR. HALL IN THE MAIN OFFICE BY MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 15.

The Youth Activation Committee is a leadership Peer group bridging friendships with Special Olympics athletes and students with special needs. The school store will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays during A & B lunches. Popcorn is $.50 All Student Council and senior class officers: There will be a mandatory meeting concerning Homecoming immediately after school in C3 this Friday.

Attention all athletes at Edsel Ford.  Once you have paid your activity fee please pick up your sports pass from Mr. Picano during your lunch hour.  You will need your ID with sports pass to be admitted to the games for free.  If you don’t have your ID you will have to pay to get in.

Are you interested in travel?  Would you like to go to France and Spain?  Please bring your parents and attend an informational meeting regarding our July 2015 trip to France and Spain.  The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. and will be held in room E9. See you there!

Hey Edsel Ford!  Get your custom designed “EDSEL FORD -vs- EVERYBODY” t-shirt just in time to wear to the Homecoming football game.  Let’s make it a “Black Out” at the game.  Order forms for the $15 T-shirts are available in the main office and must be returned to Mrs. Keveney in the main office by Friday, Sept. 12th.   Show your T-Bird pride and wear your “Black Out” shirt at the Homecoming game.  

The Salina community center will be open from Tuesday thru Friday ONLY .The first day of the community center is Tuesday, September 9. Time:  3:00pm thru 5:00pm FYI: The community center will be closed on Wednesday, September 10 for Open House.

Students!  If you have not turned in an emergency card for the current school year, you must do so before next Monday, September 15th.  Please return the emergency card that was mailed to you in your summer mailing packet to the student office!!

The University of MI is offering high school students a wonderful opportunity to learn about Social Justice, community action, leadership and public speaking as well as college preparation and resume’ building. Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program.  For more information, pick up a flyer from Ms. Tynan in the counseling office or Ms. Talasis in the student office. Deadline to apply is Sept. 25th. 

PICTURE MAKE UP DAY TODAY, FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2014!! STUDENTS WHO HAVE NOT HAD THEIR PICTURE TAKEN WILL BE RECEIVING A BLUE SLIP TO DO SO.

Don’t forget to ask that special someone to “Dream Big Under The Big Top” at the Homecoming Dance, October 3rd 7pm to 10pm.  Tickets will be on sale during both lunch periods and are $45 for a couple’s ticket and $25 for a singles ticket.  Each ticket has a “Big Top” keepsake charm for you to remember this special dance.

Freshmen, please join us on Friday, Sept. 19th for a tailgate party hosted by the Link Crew. There will be food, games, prizes, and even a Twinkie eating contest! The tailgate lasts until 5pm and will be held out by the baseball field. Make sure you come back to cheer on the football team at 7pm against Crestwood!

ATTENTION READERS!  THE EFHS BOOK CLUB WILL MEET FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 AFTER SCHOOL IN E2 TO CHOOSE A BOOK.  ALL ARE WELCOME!

September 15th is the LAST day to purchase a student parking pass in the main office.  Parking passes cost $20….. If you do not have a current pass by that date, you may be ticketed!!
