DAILY BULLETIN

Students!  If you have not turned in an emergency card for the current school year, you must do so before next Monday, September 15th.  Please return the emergency card that was mailed to you in your summer mailing packet to the student office!!

Unless you are with a class or have a pass from a class, you need to be in the media center before the tardy bell rings.  You will be required to stay the entire time.  This includes lunch time.

ALL HOCKEY PLAYERS at Dearborn High and Edsel Ford, not playing a fall sport, Every Tuesday and Thursday during September and October from 3:45-4:45 there will be skill development, conditioning skates and scrimmage at the DISC. Full equipment.  All grades and skill level welcome.  Coach Dallas

The University of MI is offering high school students a wonderful opportunity to learn about Social Justice, community action, leadership and public speaking as well as college preparation and resume’ building. Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program.  For more information, pick up a flyer from Ms. Tynan in the counseling office or Ms. Talasis in the student office. Deadline to apply is Sept. 25th. 

Students- after school tutoring will begin TODAY, TUESDAY, Sept. 9th  AND every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:25-4:25 in the media center.  You will need to stay the entire time to receive a bus pass.  Thank you.

Link crew we will have a morning meeting on Friday, Sept. 12th in the media center. This is a mandatory meeting-please be there by 6:55am.  Thanks-Mrs. Haddad

Would you like to mentor an elementary student?  Any juniors or seniors that would like to mentor once a week at Snow school- please see Mrs. Haddad or Mr. K to get involved.

Calling all runners! The boys and girls Cross Country teams are still accepting interested athletes to join in all the fun.  Need to stay in shape for a winter sport? We have you covered! See Mr. Belknap in room A210 for more information.  Remember, if you can walk, you can run!

PICTURE MAKE UP DAY WILL BE THIS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2014!!

Don’t forget to ask that special someone to “Dream Big Under The Big Top” at the Homecoming Dance, October 3rd 7pm to 10pm.  Tickets will be on sale during both lunch periods and are $45 for a couple’s ticket and $25 for a singles ticket.  Each ticket has a “Big Top” keepsake charm for you to remember this special dance.

Freshmen, please join us on Friday, Sept. 19th for a tailgate party hosted by the Link Crew. There will be food, games, prizes, and even a Twinkie eating contest! The tailgate lasts until 5pm and will be held out by the baseball field. Make sure you come back to cheer on the football team at 7pm against Crestwood!

Edsel Ford’s Teens for Christ club will meet for the first time on Thursday, September 11.  We will meet at 3:25, or right after school in room A-207.  We will be taking nominations for officers and also deciding the best day for the club to meet. If you are interested, please do your best to get to this meeting.Student participation and student leadership are the key ingredients to any successful club.  Thank you.

will be held TODAY, Tuesday 9 September 2014 – 3:30-4:30 pm. Auditions are held in the Choir Room. Sign up and additional information available outside the Choir Room Door!

ATTENTION READERS!  THE EFHS BOOK CLUB WILL MEET FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 AFTER SCHOOL IN E2 TO CHOOSE A BOOK.  ALL ARE WELCOME!

Guest pass applications for the Homecoming Dance are available in the student office.  They are due back to the student office NO LATER than Friday, September 26th….NO EXCEPTIONS.  The cost of the pass is $5 and will be collected when the pass for your guest is approved.

September 15th is the LAST day to purchase a student parking pass in the main office.  Parking passes cost $20….. If you do not have a current pass by that date, you may be ticketed!! 

DO NOT FORGET, TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH IS A LATE START DAY!! ALL BUSSES WILL BE RUNNING AN HOUR LATER THAN NORMAL!!
