College Reps visiting Edsel this week are:

Madonna University on site admissions- Thurs November 19 during 3rd hour- you must have an application in advance

Central Mich.—Thurs., Nov. 19th during 6th hr. Central is offering “express admissions” if you submit your application and the $35 fee you will have a decision within 24 hours.

 

Please sign up for a blue slip in the counseling office in advance.

 

Thornley court club is holding a bake sale on Wednesday after school, near the cafeteria by the black band hall doors. Please come and buy a snack to support our courtyard.

 

Freshman reading Three Cups of Tea with Ms. Lark: We will have a meeting after school on Wednesday in A203. Please try your best to be there!

 

Teens for Christ are having a meeting on tomorrow in room A2 and you should bring your items for the Christmas boxes.

 

There will be a meeting after school this Friday in the Cafeteria for students interested in joining the Edsel Ford Video Game Club. Any students wanting to join must attend this Friday’s meeting.

 

There will be a French NHS meeting in E-9 Thursday, November 19th at 2:25.

 

On Wednesday, Nov. 18th there will be a German NHS meeting to discuss our advent calendars, can drive and elementary school involvement. Please attend.

 

Interact Club is having an important meeting today after school in A203. We are making cans for toys for tots and discussing the dates for the turkey hands for the elementary children.

 

Crew for the upcoming musical Cole! We’ll begin next week on Monday after school. Painting and building of the set will be taking place so make sure you have clothes that you don’t mind messing up.

 

Students: This is just a reminder of the school cell phone policy—cell phones MUST remain in student’s hall lockers during the school day from 7:20 – 2:15. Faculty and administration are NOT responsible for lost or stolen electronic devices.

 

Think that only girls can bump, set, and spike? Boys, here’s your chance to prove volleyball can be a man’s game too! This year’s first annual Boy’s Volleyball Tournament will be held on Tuesday, December 1st at 8:00pm in the big gym. If any boys are interested in playing, please give your name to the representative signing up players for your grade. Seniors contact Kevin King. Juniors contact Hayden McDade. Sophomores contact Troy Hanson. Freshman contact Cody Cowart. There is a $5 pay to play fee for all players, and admission will cost $3

 

Attention Spanish National Honor Society members teaching kids on Friday the 20th, there will be a mandatory meeting Wednesday the 18th to make lesson plans.

 

Freshman and JV football players need to see Mr. Golles in room A208 or sophomore Brendan Atwood to pay for the football banquet. We need to know who is coming and how many are attending.

 

Green Club meeting this Thursday after school in Mrs. Haddad’s room, A204B.  See you there!!

 

Today there is a boy’s varsity ice hockey game at home against JFK High School.

 

Today’s lunch is: spicy chicken patties, chicken patties, mashed potatoes and gravy and jello.
