College Reps visiting Edsel next week are:

Concordia University—Tues., Nov. 17th during 3rd hr.

Central Mich.—Thurs., Nov. 19th during 6th hr.

Please sign up for a blue slip in the counseling office in advance.

 

Teens for Christ is having a meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 18th in room A2 and you should bring your items for the Christmas boxes.

 

On Wednesday, Nov. 18th there will be a German NHS meeting to discuss our advent calendars, can drive and elementary school involvement. Please attend.

 

Interact Club is having an important meeting today after school in A203. We are making cans for toys for tots and discussing the dates for the turkey hands for the elementary children.

 

Crew for the upcoming musical Cole! will begin next week on Monday after school. Painting and building of the set will be taking place so make sure you have clothes that you don’t mind messing up.

 

Students: This is just a reminder of the school cell phone policy—cell phones MUST remain in student’s hall lockers during the school day from 7:20 – 2:15. Faculty and administration are NOT responsible for lost or stolen electronic devices.

 

Attention: All senior athletes with a GPA of 3.5 or higher, applications for the Michigan School Athletic Association Scholar- Athlete Award are available in Mr. Picano’s office. Please see him if you have more questions.

 

Seniors: The baby and buddy ad deadline for the yearbook is next Monday, November 16th! Make sure to get yours in today. Forms can be picked up in room E12 or they can be purchased online at yearbooksforever.com

 

There will NOT be a late start next Wednesday. Our target date for late start is now for December.

 

Think that only girls can pump, set, and spike? Boys, here’s your chance to prove volleyball can be a man’s game too! This year’s first annual Boy’s Volleyball Tournament will be held on Tuesday, December 1st at 8:00pm in the big gym. If any boys are interested in playing, please give your name to the representative signing up players for your grade. Seniors contact Kevin King. Juniors contact Hayden McDade. Sophomores contact Troy Hanson. Freshman contact Cody Cowart. There is a $5 pay to play fee for all players, and admission will cost $3

 

Students: Tryouts for the boy’s basketball team will begin on Monday, Nov. 16th in the main gym. The freshman will begin tryouts at 2:30pm. The varsity will follow at 3:45pm and the JV will start tryouts at 5:45pm. All players must have a sports physical on file in order to tryout. No exceptions. Please see couch Baydoun in the counseling office if you have any questions.

Boys Varsity Ice Hockey home against Walled Lake Northern High School @ 7:20pm

 

Today’s lunch is: Fish sandwich, tater tots, tomato soup, and tuna mac salad.

The Random Fact of the Day is: At Disneyland they have hundreds of wild domesticated cats running around the park. They never come out during the day because there’s too many people, but the reason they’re there is to catch the mice.
