Good morning Edsel Ford. 

Today is Monday, June 2nd, and these are your daily announcements. 

Seniors- if you are NOT picking up your cap and gown at Edsel, you still MUST turn in your blue slip to walk at graduation. Please drop them off in the office ASAP.

Camp
Deposits–$60 A.S.A.P!!  Band Camp and String Retreat will be at YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin from Aug 22-25.
 

The Thunder Zone is packing up for the summer with a HUGE clearance sale this Tuesday and Wednesday, June 3rd and 4th, from 2:15 to 2:45.  Stock up for next year at bargain prices, like hoodies for $15, flip flops for only $3, baseball hats for $2.50, and much more. NO return or exchanges. Cash only, and small bills please! 

Students taking AP European History or AP Government must pick up their summer work from Mr. K by June 11 in room B-9. 

There will be a meeting for all students taking AP calculus next year on Tuesday, June 3rd.  The meeting is at 2:30 in Room A202.  If you can’t make it, please see Mrs. Maynor. 

There will be a Girls Golf meeting on Wednesday, June 4th after school in the cafeteria.  All interested girls should attend this informational meeting. 

The girls’ swim team will have a brief informational meeting at 3:15 on Thursday, June 5th in the cafeteria. 

There will be a VARSITY cheerleading meeting for football season on Wednesday, June 4th right after school. 

The Islamic Club will be holding their last meeting on June 3rd at 2:20 pm in room B-13. 

Underclassmen may pick up the yearbook they ordered today in Room E-12 after school.  Underclassmen may purchase yearbooks before and after school in Room E-12, or during lunch this week. 

 

Do you want to get in better shape and test your fitness level?  Come join the Edsel Ford boys and girls cross country teams on Sunday, June 15th at 9:30 a.m. for our Second Annual T-Bird 5K Race.  This year, we will be running at the scenic Ford Field. Not into running?  Come watch your classmates, teachers, and local running stars race for first prize!  See Mrs. Haddad or Mr. Picano for information on how to sign up. 

The Breast Cancer Awareness Program continues  in honor of Mrs. Linda Gohl,  who is battling cancer.  There are still some pins and other cute items for sale in the Library.   Students can purchase raffle tickets during lunches and all day in the Library.   Tickets will be 50 cents each.  Check the bulletin board at the end of A hall to see what is available for the raffle. Our school goal is $3,500!  We can do it!!! 

Today’s lunch will consist of: Chili, beef-a-roni, chicken noodle soup, hamburgers, crazy bread, fruit, cheese rolls, salad, srtombolis, and nachos 

Today’s Random Fact: Monday is the most stressful day of the week. Seniors- congratulations, since this is your last Monday at Edsel Ford, and underclassmen, only one more Monday to go this year!
