Daily News for Jan. 29th

Good morning Edsel Ford. Today is Tuesday, January 29th, and these are your daily announcements. 

Lake Superior StateUniversity will hold a college visit here on Wednesday, January 30th at 8:30 am. Interested juniors and seniors may sign up in the counseling office.  

Are you a safe driver? Do you want to learn about safe driving skills? Look for more information in the coming weeks. 

There will be a boys track meeting immediately after school on Wednesday, January 30th, in the cafeteria. 

There will be an Islamic Club meeting on Wednesday,  Jan. 30th in room B-13 at 2:20. Students must provide their own transportation. 

There will be a benefit concert tomorrow, January 30th, at 7 pm, in the EF auditorium for First Step.  First Step is an organization taking a stand against domestic and sexual violence.  Tickets are $5.  Come and see your fellow students and TEACHERS perform! 

Finally, Edsel Ford has a green and yellow Abitibi bin located in the student parking lot by the track.  This bin is for recycling paper.  The company in return will pay the school for every two tons accumulated.  Do your part and help not only Edsel Ford, but the environment too.  We need ALL your: magazines, shopping catalogs, newspapers, office and school papers, and mail. Please do NOT include: plastic, glass, metal, trash, cardboard and food packaging. The class of 2010 and Mrs. Haddad thank you! 

Today’s lunch menu will consist of chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes and gravy, chicken noodle soup, hamburgers, tossed salad, chicken Caesar salad, cheese rolls, homemade dinner rolls, chicken wraps with ranch, nachos and cheese, and cookies.
