Daily News for Jan. 10th

Good Morning Edsel Ford. Today is Thursday, January 10th, and these are your daily announcements.  

Students: Overdue library slips have now been given to your teachers. Please take care of the late fines, printing costs, etc. listed on your notices as soon as possible. To receive next semester’s schedule you must take care of this. Don’t delay, take care of it today.  

There will be a STAR meeting today, January 10th, in Mrs. Reiter’s room, C-5. We will be discussing “No name calling” week. There will be snacks.  Everyone is welcome. 

To all Students: The ADC Martin Luther King essay contest deadline has been extended to Monday, January 14th. Please see Mr. Baydoun in the counseling office if you have any questions. 

Attention Spanish NHS Members:   there will be a meeting after school today in Senora Chavez’s room.  All members are asked to attend.  See you there! 

Attention French NHS members. There will be a brief meeting after school today in Madame’s room. Please attend. 

The Islamic Club will be having a meeting  today at 2:20, in B-13. There will be a power point presentation.  All are welcome! Students must have their own transportation. 

Today’s lunch menu will consist of chicken nuggets, rice pilaf, cabbage soup, pasta salad, hamburgers, spice cake, cheese rolls, spicy fries, turkey subs, and chocolate chip cookies. 

Today’s Sports are as follows:Girls Freshman, JV and Varsity Basketball will be Home today vs. Woodhaven  Freshman begins at 3:30, JV at 5:30 and Varsity at 7:00.Boys Varsity Swimming is away at
