Good Morning Edsel Ford. Today is Tuesday October 23rd, and these are your daily announcements. The 2007 Monster Mash Halloween Dance will be held on Friday, October 26th. Dress code will apply. Prizes will be given for best dressed, individual, couple, and group costumes. Tickets will be on sale during both lunches. $5.00 for underclassmen and $4.00 for seniors.
Representatives from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines will be visitingEdsel Ford High School to discuss college tuition incentives, vocational training, and career opportunities. If you are interested in attending please see your counselor as soon as possible.
The boys Varsity and JV Tennis teams need to meet on Monday, October 22nd at 3 o’clock on the tennis courts for your Mega White Championship Team Photo. See Tyler Wydendorf with any questions. See you there and Congrats! Anybody interested in joining the Dearborn Unified Gymnastic team should attend an informational meeting, Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 2:30pm in the cafeteria. This is also a reminder that you will need a completed athletic physical to try out for any sports at Edsel Ford High School. If you need a physical form you may pick one up from the athletic office across from the cafeteria. Students interested in attending must sign up in the counseling office at least 24 hours before the scheduled visit.
There will be an Interact Club meeting Thursday, October 25th, in Mr. Sedore’s room in E10. There will be a Book Club meeting on Friday, October 26th after school in E-12. All are welcome; we will be discussing ideas for books to read.
Attention boys swimmers and divers: don’t forget the swim team meeting Monday, November 5th after school in the cafeteria. New swimmers and divers are welcome. Congratulations to the Edsel Ford Field Hockey team for winning their division. They have beaten Dearborn High twice and this is the first championship in the team’s history.
